This test is the property of ETS Global, a non-profit making organisation of international repute, which confides us with its teaching. It establishes assesses candidates, based on the levels B1, B2, C1 and C2 of the Common European Reference Framework for Languages (CEFR).
The test measures four skills divided into four sections (reading/listening/speaking/writing). The test lasts about 4 hours:
Reading (60-80 min.): Read 3 or 4 passages of academic texts and answer questions (between 36 and 56).
Listening (60-90 min.): Listen to lectures and classroom discussions and conversations, then answer questions (between 34 and 51).
Speaking (20 min.): Express an opinion on a familiar topic, talk according to tasks for written and oral comprehension (6 tasks).
Writing (50 min.): Write the answers in essay form based on written and oral comprehension tasks; justify opinions in writing (2 tasks).
Assessment at the end of the training session is carried out directly by the test itself. It is corrected entirely independently by ETS Global. The results are given as a "score-report," which indicates the total number of points obtained (total and breakdown by section.)
